Handling modules HSPThe handling module HSP is a new generation of functional modules for the automatic transfer, feeding and removal of small parts in extremely confined spaces. This is achieved by a force-guided vertical and horizontal motion. A backlash-free cross-guide with recirculating ball bearing elements ensures high precision and good rigidity. The combination of semi-rotary drive and slotted guide results in a compact unit for a complete pick & place cycle (lifting the part - moving it horizontally - setting it down). The advantages of this functional module are short cycle times and a very compact installation space. Since it is a ready-to-install module, the project engineering effort is low and commissioning is very simple. The lifting movements are variable. The handling module can move payloads of up to 1.6 kg. A waiting position is possible, as is position sensing using proximity sensors.Parallel/three-point/radial/angle grippers are attached to the HSP with an adapter kit. The handling module HSP can be operated with a pneumatic or an electric drive.

This is achieved by a force-guided swivel and linear motion sequence. A backlash-free guide with recirculating ball bearing elements ensures high precision and good rigidity. The combination of semi-rotary drive and slotted guide results in a compact unit for a complete pick & place cycle at an angle of 90° (picking up the part - moving it 90° - feeding the part). The advantages of this functional module are short cycle times and a very compact installation space. Since it is a ready-to-install module, the project engineering effort is low and commissioning is very simple. The lifting movements are variable. The handling module can move payloads of up to 1.6 kg. A waiting position is possible, as is position sensing using proximity sensors.
