In this CMEF exhibition, Festo will showcase the fully automatic sample pre-processing unit. This solution is tailored for the life science industry, and can realize the whole set of automatic pretreatment process of nucleic acid extraction sample, sample tube cap open/close, sample barcode scanning, sample handling. It integrates Festo's "golden partner" portfolio applications in liquid control, gas handling and electric drive. The mass flow controller accurately controls the gas pressure and flow. The compact and lightweight EHMD rotating/gripping module can realize high-speed infinite rotations, and accurately open/close the reagent bottle caps. The positive and negative pressure generator is combined with the liquid dispensing head to realize the accurate handling and transfer of liquid from micro liter to milliliter. The medium separated solenoid valve with small size and large flow can realize micro non-contact accurate separation and titration, and the dispensing accuracy can reach the microliter level.
