Compliance: we take our responsibility seriously

We take our responsibility seriously

As an international, family-owned and long-established company, the Festo Group enjoys an excellent reputation amongst its business partners and employees, places great value on integrity and has high standards when it comes to ethically correct and lawful conduct. We recognise that we have a responsibility towards our business partners and our employees worldwide.

The benchmark for our conduct

Compliance with applicable laws, specifications, standards and guidelines is the basis for the way we do business.

In order to provide our employees and business partners with an insight into our understanding of the law and our own values, we’ve prepared a code of conduct that is a binding standard for the business conduct of all Festo employees.

Our Compliance Office supports the global implementation of the code of conduct and is the point of contact for all questions our customers and employees may have within this context.

Conflict minerals

In the Democratic Republic of the Congo and neighbouring countries, raw materials are mined and used to finance violent conflicts. These materials are known as ‘conflict minerals’. We therefore make every effort not to purchase any materials from the region of Congo.

However, as Festo is required to disclose the sources of its materials within the supply chain, we fulfil this obligation to the best of our ability by providing an up-to-date CMRT (Conflict Minerals Reporting Template). Please contact the Compliance Office if you have any questions about this:
