On July 12nd, Zhang Yaowen, China Representative Officer of Germany International Cooperation Agency (GIZ) and teachers of Jincheng Vocational and Technical College visited Festo Experience Center (FEC) and held an opening ceremony of teacher’s summer technical training in mechanical and electrical in the Shanghai office of Festo China.
The 5-day-long course covers pneumatic and electrical pneumatic technology, hydraulic and electrical hydraulic technology, integrated application of mechatronics technology (MPS), Industry 4.0 and introduction of WorldSkills mechatronics competition. The training system is from Festo intelligent manufacturing basic training platform, called Festo TP series, and modular production system(MPS) for Mechatronics technical training. The training course is designed in the topic of for modern industrial intelligent manufacturing, presenting the real application of industrial production, and providing students with a full range of teaching programs from theoretical knowledge to intelligent manufacturing practice of Industry 4.0.
Festo Didactic products are highly expandable, which can enrich their functions by adding different modules on the basic products.
For example, MPS (Modular Production System) can realize the upgrade of control system such as machine, electricity, hydraulic and gas in the Internet of Things gateway system by adding multiple RFID read-write units and MES production execution system, and become the basic learning equipment with the concept of Industry 4.0.
The production unit of MPS system is designed for WorldSkills Mechatronics skill competition. It integrates the fields of machinery, pneumatic technology, hydraulic technology, electrotechnics, electronics, computer technology, production digitalization technology, robot technology and system development involved in the application of global manufacturing technology. It is the best training system for training Mechatronics technicians in industrial application technology.
As the leading provider in technical education, in order to meet the all-round development needs of China's vocational colleges from technical training system to curriculum, Festo Didactic draws on the experience of German dual system characteristic education, and provides the global integrated solutions in Mechatronics, Industry 4.0, process control, fluid power and other aspects.
Government of Jincheng city is taking the lead in implementation of the German vocational education system. Mechatronics will be first integrated as a pilot major to lead the road of the dual education system. As the implementation unit of this project, Jincheng Vocational and Technical College will carry out personnel training to meet the needs of self-developed curriculum outline and quality standards, and establishment of a set of sustainable training principles with the development of modern job market. In the future, Festo will also actively provide more professional support in the development of the school education system.
