Pneumatics training packages

Just a lot of hot air? Not at all!

Our training packages are modular. For example, you can start with the basic level in pneumatics and then move on to the advanced level or begin with electropneumatics instead – there’s a wide range of options. Would you like to train on a specific group of topics? That's not a problem! You can order all the components from the equipment sets individually in order to put your own ideas into practice.

Overview and structure of our pneumatics training packages

Pneumatics training packages:

Pneumatics, Basic level, TP 101

Basic pneumatics training – the classic

Developed and updated based on the experience from more than a thousand pneumatics courses.

To TP 101

Pneumatics, Advanced level, TP 102

Advanced pneumatics training.
Expand the training content included in TP 101 and gain more in-depth knowledge.

The components from the equipment set TP 101 are required to carry out the projects.

To TP 201

Troubleshooting in pneumatics, TP 101+

Systematic troubleshooting in pneumatics, Advanced level, TP 101+

This advanced level supplements equipment set TP 101. The training package 101+ contains components with predefined, realistic errors.

To TP 101+

Electropneumatics, Basic level, TP 201

Basic electropneumatics training.

This compact format provides the most important basic principles.

To TP 201

Electropneumatics, Advanced level, TP 202

Advanced electropneumatics training – the next step!

This training package expands the content from TP 201. The components from the equipment set TP 201 are required to carry out the projects.

To TP 202

Measurement/control in pneumatics, TP 210

Fit for tomorrow?
This advanced level expands on the training content of the equipment sets for TP 101 and TP 201 and includes the subject of measuring and control in pneumatics.

To carry out the exercises, you will need the components from the equipment sets for TP 101 and TP 201.

To TP 210

Pneumatic drives, Advanced level, TP 220

Optimum actuation!
TP 220, Drives in pneumatics, expands the training package TP 201 with the basic principles of pneumatic drives.

To TP 220

Vacuum technology, Advanced level, TP 230

Vacuum in handling technology

This training package expands the training content of TP 201 to include the subject of vacuum in handling technology.

To TP 230

Safety in pneumatics, TP 250

TP 250 for risk reduction and safety in pneumatic systems, Advanced level.

This training package expands on the training content of TP 101 and TP 201 to include systematic optimisation of safety in pneumatic systems. The aim of the training package is to detect risks in pneumatic processes, to assess the risks for a simple “machine” and to learn what measures can be taken to reduce risks and how to implement them properly.

The components from the TP 201 equipment set are required in order to complete the projects

To TP 250

Sensors in pneumatics, TP 240

Sensors in pneumatics, Advanced level, TP 240

This training package expands the training content of TP 201 to cover sensors in pneumatics.

To TP 240

Digitalisation in pneumatics, TP 260

Digitalisation is changing the working environment of many traditional industrial professions and skilled trades. As a result, the requirements for students and apprentices are changing too.

By expanding equipment set TP 201 to include TP 260, Digitalisation in pneumatics, Advanced level, you will ensure that your curricula cover this transformation.

To TP 260

Basic principles of PLC programming, TP 301

The training package TP 301 covers the basics of PLC programming and covers, among other topics, the benefits of programmable logic controllers compared to electric, electropneumatic and electrohydraulic solutions.

To TP 301

Closed-loop pneumatics, Basic level, TP 111

Training content:

  • Controlling pressure and position
  • Principles of a control circuit: controlled, manipulated, disturbance and reference variables
  • Operation and timing of control units: discontinuous and continuous controls, P, I, D, PI, PD, PID controls, status controls
  • Behaviour of controlled systems: transfer characteristics, step response behaviour, systems with and without compensation, systems of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd order, dead time
  • Interaction of closed-loop controllers and control systems, control circuit optimisation, stability considerations
  • Set-up, commissioning and optimisation of closed-loop control modules, devices and systems with analogue controller cards

To TP 111

Sensors for object detection, TP 1311

The purpose of sensing in automation technology

The topic of sensors for object detection is covered extensively in the equipment set TP 1311. The focus is in particular on the design, function, range of applications and selection of sensors based on the requirements of the application.
